Monday musings

Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you are all keeping well & warm.

Another week has flown by & lots of plans have been put in place.

Some didn’t quite work out but I always believe things are meant to be & there are plenty of other plans on the horizon that could be even bigger & better!

Unfortunately a photo-shoot planned for Sunday was postponed but I am looking forward to getting a few more people involved & working on some more ideas for the rearranged shoot, it might be a bit warmer by then too!!

There have been lots of enquiries coming in for my wedding planning services as well as for Bambino.  It looks like it is going to be another busy year for us.

In the meantime plans for The Savvy Wedding Show are coming together nicely.

I am really looking forward to hosting in the St Nicholas Centre which is right in the centre of Ipswich & a beautiful venue.

If any brides or grooms to be are looking for someone else to take the stress away from planning your perfect day get in touch to see what I can do for you.

There are lots of great suppliers from Suffolk & Essex who will also be on hand to help

Make sure you Save The Date;

31st March 2015, 630pm – 930pm, St Nicholas Centre, Ipswich

The Savvy Wedding Show

Would be great to see you there & chat about your wedding plans.

Have a great week whatever you’re doing & Happy Planning!

Katherine Xx

Brides, bambinos, birthdays & now some more blogging…

Is it too early to think about New Year Resolutions?  One of mine is to make more time to blog.

It has been a busy time with photoshoots, bambino bookings, bride enquiries & a birthday boy!

You can see the photos on Bambinos Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Bambino-Calessino-520518724773571/?ref=hl

I am really looking forward to the 4 weddings I have booked so far for next year & some other exciting projects in the pipeline including more photoshoots & more Savvy Wedding Shows

If anyone wants more information about getting involved in any of the photoshoots or weddings shows in Suffolk get in touch, savvyweddingplanner@outlook.com

Monday musings

It seems like a very long time since my last post even though only a week has passed

Have had a poorly husband to look after which has enabled me to get a few more things done than usual as even though he was poorly he was still able to occupy our little boy

There are a few things in the pipeline which I am very much looking forward to

A sunrise photoshoot with Bambino being arranged as well as a wedding for Bambino at the end of the month

For Christmas I have arranged a charity pamper evening to take the strain away with massages & manicures on offer as well as some unique gifts

I am hoping I will also be attending The Wedding Industry Award regional celebration (keeping fingers crossed as results will be revealed this week)

Looking forward to our little boy turning 2 as well so a fairly busy month!!

It seems like my blog has become more of a diary which I hope doesn’t bore you

If anyone is interested in writing a guest blog do let me know

Have a great week Xx

Back to the future…Wedding shows, Websites, Business cards, & Interviews

Great to meet lots of lovely suppliers ‪#‎issacs‬#weddingfayre

A great morning @eastenthub thanks to Amy for arranging our meet & greet with local reporters. Look forward to seeing you soon

Not a bad afternoon either my website is now officially open!!

Have got an idea for a great event. Will take a while before I can confirm details but watch this space…

So, this time last year was a busy & exciting time (above are extracts from my Facebook account)

My business cards arrived (I was very chuffed at the time, but they are soo much better now thanks to getting a professional logo & design for my cards & flyers).

The Wedding Fair at Issac introduced me to some more great suppliers, my website went live & I had a press interview with our local press about Suffolk Mothers In Business.  Click on the link below to see a pic of the article which was published

It all felt a bit unreal & daunting at the time but I knew the time was right to embark on this new adventure into Wedding Planning.

I am looking forward to planning my next wedding show & helping to plan more weddings next year

In the meantime I am keeping busy with some charity events & toying with ideas for another Suffolk Wedding Event which will be a bit different & involve working with a lot of different people…watch this space…
